SIESTA SOLUTION s.r.o., company ID (IČO): 05203503, with registered office at Bruselská 14, 120 00 Prague 2, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, section C, file 259975 (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”, “we” or “us”), operates the website at the address siesta-labs.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”). As the controller of personal data, we hereby provide information about how we process the personal data of visitors to the Website (hereinafter referred to as the “Visitor” or “you”) in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”).

1. What personal data do we process and why?

1.1. When you contact us

When you get in touch through the contact form on the Website or by e-mail, we process the personal data you provide — typically your name, e-mail address and the content of your message. We use this data solely to handle your enquiry and to communicate with you about it. The legal ground for this processing is the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

1.2. Operation, analysis and improvement of the Website

In order to operate, secure, analyse and improve the Website, we process data about your use of it — such as the pages you visit, referring links, and technical information about your device and browser. For these purposes we use cookies and similar technologies, including analytics and marketing tools provided by the third parties listed in section 2. The legal ground is our legitimate interest in the proper operation, security and improvement of the Website and, where required by law for non-essential cookies, your consent (Article 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR).

1.3. Compliance with legal obligations

We may process personal data where this is required by law, in particular in connection with our accounting and tax obligations and the fulfilment of obligations arising from applicable legal regulations.

2. Who has access to your personal data?

We obtain personal data primarily from you. We do not sell your personal data. We may share personal data with providers that help us operate the Website and run our business (processors), and with public authorities where we are obliged to do so by law.

The processors and third-party tools we use include:

  • Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18 D18 P521 — cloud hosting (Microsoft Azure) and website analytics (Microsoft Clarity).
  • Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, D04 E5W5, Ireland — website analytics (Google Analytics) and web fonts (Google Fonts).
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, D02 X525, Ireland — audience measurement and advertising (Meta Pixel).

Personal data are processed within the EU/EEA. Where any of the above providers transfers data to a third country outside the EEA, such transfer is carried out on the basis of appropriate safeguards under the GDPR (in particular the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

3. How long do we keep your personal data?

  • Enquiries sent through the contact form or by e-mail are kept for the time necessary to handle them and thereafter for the period needed to protect our legitimate interests (typically for the duration of the relevant limitation periods).
  • Data processed for Website analytics are kept for the period set by the particular tool, after which they are retained only in anonymised form.
  • Data processed to comply with legal obligations are kept for the periods required by the applicable laws.

4. What are your rights?

In relation to the processing of your personal data you have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data and obtain a copy of it,
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data rectified,
  • have your data erased (the “right to be forgotten”),
  • request restriction of the processing,
  • obtain your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have it transmitted to another controller (data portability),
  • object to processing carried out on the grounds of our legitimate interests,
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where the processing is based on consent,
  • lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, www.uoou.cz).
